- Although an e-mail is a quick way of sending a message, it cannot replace a formal business letter.
- Every business letter should include the following parts: date, inside address, salutation, body of the letter, complimentary close, signatures, and end notations (enclosures, etc.).
- A salutation is a traditional way of greeting the person or people to whom you are writing.
